Aden Khawaja | Editor-in-Chief
Hi everyone! I'm Aden, I’m a penultimate Law student, and I'm delighted to be one of your Editors-in-Chief alongside Ameer for Obiter Dicta this year.
I'm excited to work alongside our brilliant subcommittee to deliver the OD magazine at the end of Term 2, launch our brand-new commercial awareness booklet, produce podcast episodes, and continuing the publication of articles by students throughout the year.
There are so many ways you can get involved with OD, and I can't wait to read all the new articles our writers will produce. We will also be holding a writing competition at the beginning of next term, so keep an eye out for that!
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about Obiter Dicta - I’m really looking forward to what will be our biggest year yet!

Courtney Taku | Deputy Editor
Hi everyone! My name is Courtney, and I am thrilled to be joining this year’s Obiter Dicta team as one of the Deputy Editors-in-Chief. I am currently in my second year studying History and Politics, and although my degree is not law focused, I have always been fascinated by the ways legal issues shape political and historical narratives. Being part of Obiter Dicta gives me the perfect opportunity to explore that intersection and contribute a slightly different academic viewpoint to the team. As Deputy Editor, I am especially looking forward to supporting brilliant writers and ensuring we continue to produce accessible and thoughtful work. I cannot wait to help bring fresh ideas to the table and make this year an exceptional one for the publication.
